Wow. what an eventful day i've had today. very fun and educational.. cos today, i had a training program at Diageo's. erm, please don't ask me what that is. i'm not too sure myself. i think that they're brand ambassadors for big names like Smirnoff, Baileys and Johnnie Walker.
The presenter today was fantastic. he was able to hold on to my attention for long periods o time, nearly for the whole training. and he was very entertaining, joking with us as though we're old friends. way cool, cos i'm known to lose interest easily.. he's accomplished in nearly all aspects of the service line. in the bar starting from scratch to the tops. even a chef! interesting huh?
So i've learnt quite alot today. he mixed some marvelous drinks. very very good tasting. my favourite was this chocolate-dessert drink that he mixed. this is the ingredients he used.. er, the ingredients are correct, but measurement may be slightly off.
1 part Vodka
1 part Johnnie Walker Gold Label
4 part Baileys Irish Cream
1 part Baileys Cocoa Mint
1 part Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
Shake till there's a layer of ice around the shaker
Garnish with chocolate shavings
Martini glass decorated using Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
It's sweet but the alcohol can still be tasted, this is one of the best i've ever tasted.. really! however, i'm not sure if it's an international cocktail, or his own concoction. i forgot to ask. today's experience was really an eye-opener. i'm glad i decided to attend this training. i don't regret it!
Talked to her for awhile yesterday on msn. glad that we can still chat like friends.. i didn't tell her about the Deathnote's pages nearly ending. maybe she might read the past entries, maybe not. i dunno, and i won't really bother. it's not that i don't care, but some things don't remain the same. this blog was created because of her.
So anyway, i'm starting my full-time this week. gonna be a super shagged week as i get used to full-time life. wish me luck everyone! take care, till i update again when i'm free.
