Sometimes, things happen and they're totally beyond your control. Perhaps it was the choices you made, or the things that you did, maybe you could have walked another path, or choose another route. Life is not a game that you can save and restart if it f*cked up, you chose the route to take. We should always choose wisely and think before we make any decisions, because someone tends to f*ck you up the ass when you've turned around and not notice. That's what life is about, deal with it.
